Cliffdale Loop is a 1.7-mile loop on Teatown Lake Reservation Land in New York, managed by a non-governmental organization. The route rises from about 339 feet to 475 feet, with a total elevation gain of 169 feet, and the steepest stretch comes early on, around 0.17 miles in, at a 10% grade. The climb is easy, and the loop makes a short outing of about half an hour. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 70°F and September highs around 74°F, with July the warmest month at about 83°F. The Catamount Hill Loop starts just 0.1 mile away, and the Cliffdale-Teatown Trail is 0.3 mile off. The Lakeside Loop and the Briarcliff-Peekskill Trailway are both within a mile.
