Chodikee Trail is a short, easy hike of about 0.8 miles in Black Creek State Forest in New York, managed by the State Department of Conservation. It is a point-to-point route that rises from a low of about 231 feet to a high of about 342 feet, with the steepest stretch at roughly 9% near the end of the hike. The most comfortable months to visit are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Poughkeepsie show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 74°F, with July the warmest month at about 83°F. Bikes and horses are not allowed on this trail. Several other trails start close by. Ridge Trail is about 0.2 miles away and Anasa Martin Trail about 0.4 miles. Pond Land Trail is about half a mile off, and Hyde Park Trail is about 2 miles away.
