Anasa Martin Trail is a short, easy hike in New York, about a third of a mile long and managed by a non-governmental organization. It's a point-to-point route with a low total climb of 13 feet, so it works well as a quick stop or a link between other trails in the area. The trail is flat for most of the way, with a slight rise of about 9% at the 0.12-mile mark. The high point is about 240 feet, and the low point is about 210 feet. Bikes and horses are not allowed. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Poughkeepsie show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 74°F, with July the warmest month at about 83°F. Pond Land Trail is about 0.1 mile away and Ridge Trail about 0.2 mile. Chodikee Trail is about 0.4 mile off, and Hyde Park Trail is roughly 1.7 miles away.
