West Face is a climbing area in the Kiowa/Rita Blanca National Grasslands, part of the Cibola National Forest in New Mexico, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with South Face and Mushroom Boulder both about 0.1 mile away. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Roy, NM weather station show May highs around 76°F and October highs near 69°F, while July averages about 88°F and winter highs sit in the upper 40s.
