Tyrone Road (Fr 136) is an easy out-and-back hike in the Silver City Ranger District of Gila National Forest in southwestern New Mexico, managed by the Forest Service. The route is about 4.9 miles long, with a one-way climb of 435 feet from a low point of about 6,350 feet to a high of about 6,613 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby White Signal weather station show May highs around 80°F and October highs around 72°F, while July and August bring the most wet days. Deadman Canyon lies just 0.1 mile away, and Tyrone Thompson Road is about 2.2 miles off. The Continental Divide Trail and Charro Trail are both roughly 4.8 miles from the route.
