Park Entry Trail is a short, easy hike in Manzano Mountains State Park in New Mexico, managed by State Park and Recreation. The trail is about half a mile long, with a one-way climb of about 46 feet from a low point of 7,211 feet to a high of 7,266 feet. It makes a simple way to get into the park. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 76°F and October highs around 68°F, while July and August run hotter and wetter, with highs near 88°F and about 10 to 11 wet days a month. The Outer Loop Trail and the Nature Trail both start about 0.2 miles away, and the Wld Fire Trail is about 0.3 miles off. For climbing, Mighty Wall is about 4.6 miles away.
