Los Triegos Loop is a 5.2-mile loop hike in the Pecos-Las Vegas Ranger District of Santa Fe National Forest in New Mexico, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises from about 7,000 feet to a high point of 7,894 feet, with a total elevation gain of 893 feet, and is rated moderate. The route is a loop, so it starts and ends at the same point. The trail surface is natural, and bikes are allowed, which makes it a good option for riders as well as hikers. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Pecos put May highs around 73°F and October highs around 67°F, while July and August bring the most wet days, about 12 each month. The hike is open year-round, and the estimated time is about two hours. Pecos National Historical Park lies about 3.7 miles away, and the Glorieta Pass Battlefield Trail is about 7.9 miles off. Ridge is the closest nearby trail, at about 1.1 miles.
