Indian Creek is a hard hike in the Magdalena Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in New Mexico. It is a 17-mile out-and-back that gains about 3,600 feet, rising from roughly 6,160 feet to about 9,180 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is a natural-surface route. The climb is long and steep, and the route is rated hard. Horses are allowed, and bikes are not, so plan on a ride on foot or horseback rather than on a mountain bike. The trail is open year-round. The Apache Kid hike starts about 3 miles away, and the Milo Trail #349 is about 4.6 miles off. Climbers can find the Upper Park and Full Moon Wall climbing areas within about 6 miles.
