Burglar Wall is a sport climbing area in the Mt. Charleston Wilderness, part of the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area in Nevada's Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. The Forest Service manages the land, and the climbing sits within a cluster of named areas, with The Robbery Wall and Robber's Roost about a tenth of a mile away. The area draws climbers to its high-grade sport routes, which range from 5.10c to 5.14d. Among the 15 routes are The Rooster (5.10c), Contortionists Corner (5.12c), Snail Trails (5.13b) and Manphibian (5.14d), the hardest climb here. The routes make for a compact destination within the wilderness. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at a lower elevation show July highs around 79°F with lows near 52°F, while winter highs stay around 44°F. The station sits lower than the climbing area, so temperatures up high run cooler. The Link Trail starts about 0.2 miles away, and Hilltop and Mahogany Grove campgrounds are within a mile. Robber's Roost Trail is also close for mountain biking.
