Black Orpheus Amphitheater is a climbing area in the Rainbow Mountain Wilderness, part of the Bureau of Land Management's Red Rock/Sloan Field Office in Nevada. It sits within the wilderness, so the land is managed by the BLM. The amphitheater is a cluster of trad routes. Of the 12 routes in the area, 12 are trad, with grades ranging from 5.7 up to 5.12. Some of the named routes include Black Baby (5.7), Black Orpheus (5.9+), Eurydice (5.10b), Marijuana (5.11), and Black Ops (5.12a). Tuscarora is a 5.12. The area has several climbing neighbors within a short distance. Solar Slab - Upper Tier, Oakey Buttress and Solar Slab - Lower Tier are all about 0.2 miles away. Eagle Wall is about 0.3 miles away. Red Rock Canyon Campground is about 6.3 miles away.
