Honda is a short mountain biking route in the Carson Ranger District of Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest in Nevada, about 1.4 miles from the town of Martin. The Forest Service manages the land. The climb is about half a mile long, rising 251 feet from roughly 5,789 feet to about 6,045 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.24 miles in, with a 13% grade. The route is close to the Bobsled and Colpo Canyon trailheads, both about 0.1 mile away, and the CJ TRAIL hike is about 0.2 mile off. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall are the best bets. Typical averages from the nearby Stead weather station show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 79°F, while July averages about 89°F. That station sits roughly 944 feet lower than the route, so temperatures on the climb run cooler. Nearby options include the Honda Spur B trail for more riding, the Basque Boulders climbing area about 2.4 miles away, and Alum Creek, a canoeing spot about 5.2 miles off.
