Mahogany Forest is a mountain biking route on Forest Service land in the Carson Ranger District of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest in Nevada, about 2.5 miles from the district's boundaries. The trail is an out-and-back ride of about 5 miles, with a total climb of roughly 830 feet from a low point near 6,350 feet to a high of about 6,600 feet. The most comfortable riding months are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from the nearby Stead weather station run to highs around 69°F in May and 79°F in September. That station sits well below the route, so temperatures on the climb run cooler. The route is rated easy, and the steepest part comes at about the first mile, where the grade reaches about 11%. Scrub Brush, a mountain biking spot, lies just 0.1 mile away, along with Bacon Strip and the Eastern Trail for hiking. Climbers can find Keystone Boulder about 2.3 miles off.
