Jones Creek Loop is an easy out-and-back hike of about 1.2 miles on natural-surface trail in the Carson Ranger District of Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest in Nevada. The trail rises about 185 feet from a low point of 6,214 feet to a high of 6,402 feet, and it is managed by the Forest Service. The loop is rated easy and is open from June 1 to October 15. The trailhead is at Jones/Whites Trailhead, and parking is listed as Whites Creek Trailhead. Bikes and horses are allowed, and the trail is not accessible. For comfortable weather, aim for late summer: typical averages from a nearby weather station in Incline Village put July and August highs around 76°F with lows near 50°F. Nearby, Bitterbush Trail and Jones Creek are each within about a third of a mile. Thomas Creek, a climbing area, is about 2.4 miles away, and Mt. Rose Campground is about 4 miles away.
