Bob's Trail is a short, easy out-and-back hike in the Carson Ranger District of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest in Nevada. The trail is just under a mile long, and the climb from its low point at 5,550 feet to the high point at 5,579 feet is only about 21 feet, which makes it a gentle walk with almost no elevation gain. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Carson City weather station show May highs around 70°F and September highs around 81°F, while July climbs to about 90°F. That station sits roughly 800 feet below the trail, so temperatures up here run a bit cooler. The trail lies close to several other routes. Four Day, Evidence and Creek Trail are each about 0.1 mile away. Climbers can head to the Carson City Area about 1.8 miles off.
