Creek Trail is an easy, out-and-back hike of about 2.2 miles in the Carson Ranger District of Nevada's Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. The trail rises from about 5,160 feet to a high point near 5,545 feet, with a total elevation gain of 846 feet over the course of the trip. The climb is steepest at about 0.4 miles in, where the grade reaches about 12%. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Carson City run to highs around 70°F in May and 68°F in October. Summer is hot, with July highs near 90°F, and winter brings lows in the mid-20s. The route is short enough for a single outing, and it links to other trails close by. Four Day and Bob's Trail start within about a tenth of a mile, and Evidence is about 0.2 miles away. Climbers can find the Carson City Area about 1.9 miles off.
