Blackrock Canyon is a hard hike in Nevada's Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, within the Austin-Tonopah Ranger District. The route is an out-and-back of about 5.8 miles, with a total elevation gain of 1,034 feet, taking you from a low point of about 7,785 feet to a high of about 9,044 feet. The trail is on natural surface, and horses are allowed. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is open year-round.
