Tipover is a 4-mile out-and-back hike in Nevada's Table Mountain Wilderness, part of the Austin-Tonopah Ranger District of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. The trail climbs from about 8,300 feet to a high point of 9,467 feet, with a total elevation gain of 1,039 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route is rated moderate. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows horses, but bikes are not permitted. The open season runs from June 15 to October 30, so plan your trip for late spring through early fall.
