Sweathouse Creek Crags is a climbing area in Montana's Bitterroot National Forest, within the Stevensville Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land. The crags sit right beside Lower Crags, which lies just 0.1 mile away, making it easy to pair with that area. The climbing here is trad, and the single listed route, Centerline, is a 5.10c. That grade is typical of the area's route. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 75°F in June to about 86°F in July, with September easing back to the low 70s. That station sits roughly 1,450 feet lower than the crags, so temperatures at the crags run cooler. Several hikes lie close by.
