Glen Lake is a hard hike in the Stevensville Ranger District of Montana's Bitterroot National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The route is about 6 miles long and rises roughly 1,300 feet, starting at around 6,650 feet and topping out near 7,830 feet. It's an out-and-back, and the trail surface is natural. The closest neighbors are the Sweathouse Creek Crags and Lower Crags climbing areas, both under a mile away. The Sweathouse Creek and Gash Creek hikes sit about 1.8 miles off, and the Big Creek hike is about 2.4 miles away.
