Lost Jack Creek is a mountain biking route in the Spotted Bear Ranger District of Flathead National Forest in northwest Montana, about 1.6 miles long with a total elevation gain of 413 feet. The trail climbs from a low point of 4,012 feet to a high of 4,429 feet, and the Forest Service manages the surrounding land. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from the nearby Swan Lake weather station show July and August highs around 82°F with lows in the upper 40s, while winter highs stay near freezing. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the higher part of the route run cooler. Several other rides and outings lie close by. Meadow Cr Airstrip Shortcut is under a mile away, and Harrison Creek and Meadow Creek Gorge are each about a mile off. The South Fork Flathead River offers canoeing within about a mile.
