Wee Lake is an easy out-and-back hike in the Three Rivers Ranger District of Montana's Kootenai National Forest, about 1.5 miles long with a total elevation gain of 712 feet. The trail starts at a low point of about 4,575 feet and climbs to a high of about 5,355 feet, and it is open from May 1 through November 30. The route is natural-surfaced and allows bikes, so it works for hikers and riders alike. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is short enough to fit into a day of exploring the surrounding area. Several other hikes lie within a few miles, including Hemlock Ridge at about 2.7 miles and Arbo Creek at about 2.9 miles. For an overnight stay, Yaak Falls Campground is about 3.6 miles away and Kilbrennan Lake Campground is about 3.9 miles away.
