Sweden Creek is a short, easy out-and-back hike of about 2.9 miles in the Bozeman Ranger District of Custer Gallatin National Forest in Montana. The trail starts at roughly 7,310 feet and climbs to about 7,826 feet, gaining about 386 feet one way. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. A nearby weather station in Big Sky records typical July averages of 78°F for highs and 41°F for lows, and the trail sits higher than that station, so temperatures here run a little cooler. The trail is on natural surface and allows both horses and bikes. Placer Creek and North Fork Spanish Creek are both under a mile away, and Camp Creek is about 2.7 miles off. Spanish Creek Cabin, about 4.5 miles away, offers a place to stay overnight.
