Holland-Gordon is a hard hike in the Bob Marshall Wilderness, part of the Spotted Bear Ranger District of Flathead National Forest in northwest Montana. The trail is an out-and-back route of about 58 miles, with a one-way elevation gain of 2,759 feet, taking you from a low point of about 4,068 feet to a high of about 6,790 feet. The trail is on natural surface and is open to horses. Bikes are not allowed. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trailhead is named Holland Gordon Trailhead. It is open year-round. The climb is long and steep, so plan on a full day or more. The trailhead is the starting point, and the route is a single line through the wilderness. Nearby, Doctor Creek and Shaw Mtn are both within about 2 miles. Koessler Lake is about 1.9 miles away. For an overnight base, Holland Lake Campground is about 6 miles off.
