Shaw Creek is a 13.7-mile out-and-back hike in the Bob Marshall Wilderness, part of the Spotted Bear Ranger District of Flathead National Forest in northwest Montana. The trail climbs from about 5,132 feet to 6,457 feet, a gain of 1,259 feet, and is rated hard. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route is natural-surfaced, with horses allowed but bikes not. The trip is a full-day effort. George Creek lies just 0.1 mile away, and Shaw Mtn is about 0.6 mile off. Doctor Creek and Koessler Lake are within a few miles. For an overnight base, Owl Creek Cabin is about 6.6 miles away.
