Cedar Creek is a hard hike in the Libby Ranger District of Montana's Kootenai National Forest, about 10 miles long with a one-way climb of about 4,000 feet from a low point of roughly 2,870 feet to a high of about 5,920 feet. The trail is an out-and-back, and the Forest Service manages the land. The trail is natural-surfaced and not accessible. Horses are allowed, but bikes are not. The Cedar Creek Trailhead, numbered 141, is the parking for the route, and the trail is open from June 1 through November 30. The Grambauer Ridge hike lies about a mile away, and the Grambauer Ridge Tie and North Fork Parmenter are within about 1.6 miles. For paddling, Lake Creek is about 7 miles off.
