Camp Misery is an easy hike of about 1.5 miles in the Swan Lake Ranger District of Flathead National Forest in northwest Montana, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back with a one-way climb of about 308 feet, from a low point of roughly 6,077 feet to a high of about 6,381 feet. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows bikes, so it works for hikers and riders alike. It sits close to several other destinations. Noisy Creek and Mt. Aeneas are each about 0.3 miles away, and Picnic Lakes is about half a mile off. For mountain biking, the Jewel Lakes trail is about a mile away.
