Albert-Petty Tie is an easy hike of about 1.2 miles in the Ninemile Ranger District of Lolo National Forest in western Montana, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back that gains about 518 feet, starting at roughly 4,775 feet and reaching about 5,288 feet at the high point. The route is natural-surfaced and allows bikes, so it works for hikers and riders alike. Petty Mountain lies just 0.3 miles away, and Albert Creek is about 0.9 miles off. Albert Point is about 1.4 miles away, and Petty Pasture is about 3 miles away.
