Bull River Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Cabinet Ranger District of Montana's Kootenai National Forest. The site sits within the wider Kootenai National Forest and is managed by the Forest Service. Flush toilets are among the amenities on site, and a fee is charged for stays. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical July and August highs reach about 82°F with lows in the mid-40s, and those months see the fewest wet days of the year, around six or eight, according to averages from a nearby weather station. Winter is cold and snowy, with January highs around 33°F and about 12 snow days. Fishing is close by, with Bull River Campground Fishing just 0.1 mile away and Triangle Pond about 0.8 mile off. Blacktail Creek and Loveland Peak are both hikes within about 4 miles.
