Dunn State Park is a 132-acre state park in Massachusetts, about a mile from the town of Gardner. It is managed by the state park agency. For comfortable weather, late spring through early fall is the best window. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Ashburnham show June highs around 75°F and September highs near 71°F. Winter brings highs in the low 30s and regular snow days. The surrounding area offers several other outings. Paddlers can head to the Upper Otter River Blue Trail about 3 miles away.
