Honeysuckle Loop 1 is a short, flat mountain biking route in Maryland, about 0.6 miles from the small community of Iglehart. It's an out-and-back with almost no elevation change, running from a low of about 105 feet to a high of about 122 feet over a round-trip distance of roughly 0.38 miles. The trail is rated easy. The route is short and mostly level, with the steepest section at about 0.09 miles into the ride, where the grade reaches 4 percent. Dogs are allowed on the ride as long as they stay on a leash. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Annapolis show May highs around 77°F and October highs around 68°F, with lows in the 50s. That station sits about 97 feet lower than the trail, so temperatures here run slightly cooler.
