Real Deep End is a climbing area in Kentucky's Daniel Boone National Forest, within the Cumberland Ranger District. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Cloud 9 and Deep End both about 0.1 mile away, and The Infirmary just as close. The area has 26 routes, mostly sport climbing with a few trad options. The YDS grades run from 5.8 up to 5.12b, with Deep State at 5.10b and Swan Dive at 5.12b as two of the standouts. Omega Crack is a trad route at 5.8, and Amphibious Assault is a trad route at 5.9+. For timing, fall is the most comfortable stretch. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Beattyville show October highs around 69°F with lows near 44°F, and September and October see the fewest wet days of the year. Nearby, the Sheltowee Trace high water route and Happy Top Walking Trial are both within about 5 miles. Lago Linda Hideaway offers camping about 5 miles away, and Miguel's Campsite is roughly 10 miles off.
