Warrior Rock is a climbing area in Castle Rocks State Park in Idaho, managed by State Park and Recreation. The name points to its focus: a cluster of rock faces and routes within the park that sit close together, with several other climbing areas just a short distance away. The climbing here runs from sport routes on the easier side up to a harder 5.10c. Five routes are listed, with four of them sport and one mixed. "Little Warrior" is the mixed route at 5.5, and "Warrior's Tribe" is the hardest at 5.10c. "The Road Back Home" and "Thirteen Warriors," both 5.6, were first climbed by Stan and Diana Haye. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Oakley show July and August highs around 86°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter highs stay in the low to mid 40s. The closest neighbors include Hostess Gully - West Corridor, Castle Rock - East Face and Castle Rock - South Face, each about 0.1 mile away.
