The Office is a climbing area in Idaho's City of Rocks National Reserve, managed by State Park and Recreation. It sits among a cluster of climbing destinations, with Creekside and the Anteater and Morning Glory Spire areas all within about a tenth of a mile. For timing, late spring through early fall is the most comfortable stretch. Typical averages from the Rosette, Utah weather station, about 24 miles away, put June highs around 75°F and September highs near 74°F, with lows in the 50s. The station sits roughly 745 feet lower than the reserve, so temperatures on the rocks run cooler. The area has five routes, with three in trad and one each in sport and mixed. Grades range from 5.10d to 5.12c, and first ascents are listed for some. Tunnel Vision is a sport route at 5.12, and King of the Hangdogs is a mixed route at 5.12c.
