Left Section is a climbing area on Bureau of Land Management land in the Burley Field Office in southern Idaho, about 10 miles from the town of Burley. It sits among a cluster of climbing areas, with Right Section just 0.1 mile away and The Snarl and The Snout within a third of a mile. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Massacre Rocks show May highs around 68°F and September highs around 77°F, while July and August average in the upper 80s. The closest trails are the River Trail and Pohogwe Trail, both about 5 miles away. Pipeline Campground, roughly 9 miles off, offers a place to stay.
