Hindu is a bouldering area within Massacre Rocks State Park in Idaho, managed by State Park and Recreation. It sits among several other climbing spots and trails, including Nordic Boulder, Aztec and Ancient Cluster, all about 0.1 mile away, and the River Trail, which makes it easy to pair a climb with a walk. The climbing here is all bouldering, with six routes ranging from V0 to V8. The easiest is Kama Sutra at V0, and the hardest is Shiva the Destroyer at V8. Ganesh is a V6, and Dharma Daze and Ravana are both V2. The routes are named for figures from Hindu mythology, and their first ascents are listed for each. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 68°F and September highs around 77°F, while July and August average in the upper 80s.
