Heffalump is a climbing area in Castle Rocks State Park in Idaho, managed by State Park and Recreation. It sits among several other climbing areas, including Fence Line, Eagle Rock Grove and Shark's Fin Rock, all within about a tenth of a mile. The climbing here is a mix of sport and trad routes, with 13 routes in total. The YDS grades run from 5.6 to 5.10-, with the median at 5.8. Sport routes include Sweet Roberta at 5.6 and Piglet Tip Toes at 5.10-, while Pooh Corner is a trad route at 5.8-. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Oakley show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 77°F, with July and August peaking near 86°F.
