Rising Sun Two Track is a short, easy mountain biking route in Idaho's Payette National Forest, within the McCall Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is so close to the McCall area that it makes a natural add-on to other outings in the district. The route is an out-and-back, about 0.22 miles long, with a front-loaded climb that starts at roughly 5,442 feet and peaks at 5,444 feet. The grade is gentle, around 3%, and the total elevation gain and loss are each about 26 feet, so the trail is as much a little loop as a climb. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in McCall show July and August highs around 81°F with only about five wet days a month, while winter brings highs near freezing and regular snow days. The Rising Sun Trail lies about 0.2 miles away, and the Della's Delight hike is about 0.3 miles off. For camping, Last Chance is about 3.7 miles away, and the McCall Area climbing area is about 5.9 miles away.
