Cherry Connector is a short, easy mountain biking route in Idaho's Sawtooth National Recreation Area, part of the Sawtooth National Forest managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back that starts and ends at about 7,450 feet, with a high point of 7,456 feet and a low of 7,312 feet. The total climb is 444 feet, and the steepest stretch comes at about half a mile in, with a grade of about 6 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Ketchum show July highs around 80°F with lows near 45°F, and the station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the route run cooler. Senate Meadows Loop is just 0.1 mile away, and Pioneer Cemetery Loop is 0.3 mile off. For climbing, Billy Goat Buttress is about 5 miles away, and Chemeketan Campground is about 5.6 miles away.
