As of · Source: USFS · Salmon-Challis National Forest. Agencies don't list every closure — check before you go.

Webfoot is a 4.4-mile out-and-back hike in Idaho's Salmon-Cobalt Ranger District, part of the Salmon-Challis National Forest. The trail climbs from about 6,900 feet to roughly 7,600 feet, a total gain of 13 feet, and is rated moderate. The Forest Service manages the land. The route is on natural surface, and the trail is open year round. Horses and bikes are both allowed. That makes it a flexible option for riders and pack animals. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Jackson, Montana, put July highs around 77°F with lows near 42°F, and the trail sits a few hundred feet higher, so temperatures here run slightly cooler. Nearby options include the Beartrack hike about 1.4 miles away and Wallace Lake Campground at 2.8 miles. Gannett Creek and Morgan Bar Campground are both within roughly 7.5 miles.
