Wallace Lake Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Salmon-Cobalt Ranger District of Idaho's Salmon-Challis National Forest, about 12 miles from the town of Wallace. It sits on the shore of Wallace Lake, with 12 campsites equipped with picnic tables and fire rings. Vault toilets and drinking water are available within the campground. Fishing is possible in the lake, and a primitive boat launch serves non-motorized canoes and rowboats. The drive on Salmon River Mountain Road offers views of the Salmon River Range and deep pine forests. The campground is not reservable, so plan on arriving and finding a site on the spot.
