W Fk Camas Creek is a hard hike in Idaho's Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness, on the Middle Fork Ranger District of the Salmon-Challis National Forest. The trail is an out-and-back that climbs from about 5,170 feet to 8,867 feet, with a total gain of 8,185 feet over a round trip of about 22.7 miles. The steepest stretch comes at about 1.2 miles in, with a grade of 22 percent. The route is on natural surface, and horses are allowed. Bikes are not. The trail is open year-round, and the Everett Decora Trailhead is the parking for the trip, which takes about 11.5 hours to complete. Woodtick Creek lies just 0.4 miles away, and Macarte Ridge and Grouse Creek are both within about 2.5 miles. Camas Creek, a canoeing route, is about 7.7 miles off.
