Spring Run 120 is a 4.2-mile out-and-back hike in the Palisades Ranger District of Idaho's Caribou-Targhee National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises about 1,300 feet from a low point of 6,256 feet to a high of 7,577 feet, and it is rated moderate. The route is on natural surface, and both horses and bikes are allowed. That makes it a flexible option for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Jackson, Wyoming, show July highs around 79°F with lows near 41°F, and snow is common from November through April. That station sits about 1,300 feet lower than the trail's high point, so temperatures up top run cooler. Indian Creek and the North Indian Trail are both about a mile away. Blowout Campground and the Blow Out hike are about 1.6 miles off, and Big Elk Campground & Group Area is about 4 miles away.
