Sinkhole Trail is a 1.7-mile loop hike in Silver River State Park in Florida, managed by State Park and Recreation. The trail is rated easy, with a total elevation gain of 21 feet, and it is wheelchair inaccessible. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically November and March, when typical averages from the nearby Ocala weather station run from highs around 77°F to 79°F and lows in the mid-50s, while summer brings highs near 92°F and rain on about 17 days a month in July and August. Bikes are allowed, and dogs must be leashed. Horses are not. The Swamp Trail and Sandhill Trail both start about 0.3 miles away, and the River Trail is about half a mile off. For an overnight stay, Fore Lake campground is about 8.5 miles away.
