Prairie Riding Loop is an 80-mile trail in Ocala National Forest in Florida, managed by the Forest Service and about a mile from the town of Pittman. It is a hard route, with a total elevation gain of 977 feet and a loss of 892 feet over the course of the trip. The trail is natural-surface and allows both horses and bikes. It is not an accessible trail. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late fall through spring. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Lisbon show November highs around 74°F with lows near 54°F, while July and August average highs of 90°F and about 16 wet days a month. Lake Dorr Campground and Lake Dorr Cabin are both within about 2 miles. Baptist Riding Loop and Flatwoods Riding Loop are a little farther out, at about 2.5 and 5 miles.
