Lakeview Trail is a short, easy loop hike on county land within Crooked Lake Prairie in Florida, about 1.2 miles long. It sits at a low elevation, with the highest point on the route at about 125 feet and the lowest at about 120 feet. The trail is nearly flat, with a total elevation gain of zero, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.9 miles in, with a grade of about 2%. Winter and early spring are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Mtn Lake show January highs around 75°F with lows near 50°F, while summer brings highs in the low 90s and rain on about 13 to 14 days a month from June through August. Scrub Trail starts just 0.1 mile away and makes an easy addition to the walk.
