Hidden Pond is a short, easy loop hike in Brandywine Creek State Park in Delaware, managed by State Park and Recreation. The trail is about 1.5 miles long, with a low point of 129 feet and a high of 251 feet, and it gains about 106 feet of elevation. The climb is gentle, with the steepest stretch at about 8% grade near the start of the loop. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Wilmington show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 75°F, with July the warmest month at about 84°F. Several other outings sit close by. Rocky Run and the Brandywine Creek fishing area are each about half a mile away, and the Creekside Trail and Brandywine Trail are within a mile.
