Green Egg Boulder is a bouldering area in Mianus River Park in Connecticut, about 0.1 mile from the Slabs and Cave climbing area. The park holds several other climbing spots within a short walk, including Entrance Outcropping and Mianus Park, and the Green Loop hike starts just 0.2 mile away. The bouldering here is all on rock, with eight routes listed, and all of them are boulders. The grades run from V0-1 up to V3+, with the hardest being Sunny Side Up at V3+. The easiest are Over Easy at V0 and NW Arete at V0-1. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall are the best bets. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Stamford show May highs around 72°F and September highs around 76°F, with July the warmest month at about 85°F. The closest climbing is Slabs and Cave, and the Green Loop hike is right next door. Old Mill Lane Boulder Field and the Laurel Trail are both about half a mile away.
