Mullane Trail is a short, easy hike in Connecticut, about half a mile long and rising roughly 170 feet from its low point of 364 feet to a high of 553 feet. It is a point-to-point route, and the steepest stretch comes early on, with a 10% grade at about 0.19 miles. The trail sits about 0.6 miles from the town of Chaffeeville. Summer and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Storrs show July highs around 80°F and September highs near 73°F, with lows in the 50s and 60s. The trail makes an easy addition to a longer outing. Woodland Road Trail and Olsen Trail both lie about 0.2 miles away, and Chapin Trail is about 0.4 miles off. For climbing, Joshua's Trust Land is about 0.4 miles away.
