McDougal Trail East is a short, easy hike in Connecticut, about 0.3 miles long and rising just 39 feet from its low point of 306 feet to a high of 365 feet. The trail is a point-to-point route, and the climb is front-loaded, with the steepest stretch at about 0.05 miles in, peaking at a 5% grade. The nearest town is Godfrey Corner, roughly 0.8 miles away. The most comfortable months for a visit are late spring and early fall.
