Aspetuck Trail is an easy, short hike in Connecticut, about a mile long with a low climb of 76 feet, connecting two points in the area around Godfrey Corner, roughly a mile away. The route rises from about 473 feet to 498 feet before descending slightly, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.4 miles in, with a 7% grade. The whole trip takes about half an hour, so it works well as a quick outing or a link between other trails in the neighborhood. For comfortable weather, late spring through early fall is the sweet spot. Typical averages from the nearby Danbury airport weather station run from highs near 69°F in May to around 74°F in September, with July the warmest month at about 82°F. The trail sits close to several other routes. Troop 7 Trail and Perry Trail both start within a tenth of a mile, and Godfrey Trail is about half a mile off. Great Ledge, a climbing area, lies about 1.3 miles away.
